Marcello De Angelis

1977 Italy

Marcello De Angelis was born in Villafranca di Verona, where he lives and works. His research is aimed at trying to harness the pictorial material within a logical and rational order. The starting point of his works is a drawing which is subsequently reworked on the computer by means of a graphic modeling program. This is how vector grids are born, geometric shapes which are subsequently transferred onto the canvas and which become structures from which a dense acrylic color labyrinth is created, made by injecting it directly onto the surface of the canvas using the needle of an injection syringe – renamed injection painting technique . They take shapethus dynamic surfaces that change as the light changes. He has participated in various collective and personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
